Our Mission
The Danforth Dispatch is an independently run student newspaper centered around Washington University in St. Louis. We are affiliated with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute “Collegiate Network.” Our goal is to promote truth, beauty, and virtue on campus by providing honest reporting, commentary, and opinion. Furthermore, we believe that free speech and the ability to have an open and honest discussion are necessary for academic freedom. While we are not a religiously affiliated paper, we recognize the decisive role that Judeo-Christian morality and values played in creating, developing, and sustaining the West, and thus we view the discussion of Judeo-Christian religion as a prerequisite to human flourishing.
